Air Force finds no records for man accused of threatening congressman’s family

The Air Force said Wednesday that it cannot find records supporting the service claims of a man who is accused of threatening the family members of a New York congressman and a journalist.

Robert Lemke, 35, of California, identified himself on Facebook as a former Air Force captain and a retired sergeant with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, according to a criminal complaint.

Biden COVID-19 plan looks at safety as students, teachers defy rules

Computer science teacher Suzy Lebo saw COVID-19 dangers frequently in her Indiana high school: classes with about 30 students sitting less than 18 inches apart. Students crowding teachers in hallways. Students and staff members taking off their masks around others.

Neighborhood efforts to hold parades nixed on North Shore

Residents of the Grande Maison subdivision near Mandeville recently touted a neighborhood Mardi Gras parade planned for Feb. 13. It started with a few golf carts and hand-pulled wagons rolling down their streets in a Carnival-style caravan. ‘Neglected’ youth kills father, sibling in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI:

An extreme case of sibling rivalry came to fore when a murder suspect claimed killing his brother and father because he was neglected at home.

The Rawalpindi police finally arrested the suspect who had allegedly shot dead his father and brother within the remits of Airport police station and fled to Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The suspect, Aqeel Kamal, second among five brothers, claimed in his statement to the police that he had committed the double murder over domestic disputes, including getting much less attention than his brothers at home and in business and being ignored in every matter.
